A special shout out to all the new subscribers who have joined since the last newsletter went out. Thank you for valuing my work when there are so many things that can take your attention online. I appreciate you beyond words.
This is a paid edition of the Soul Wisdom newsletter.
Before getting into today’s newsletter I wanted to share that my free workshop called Behind The Mask happening on 3rd July 2023 at 6PM UK time.
My journey of self exploration led me to explore 5 specific areas and these areas affect everyone’s life. Your relationship to each of these will dictate how peaceful, connected, and authentic you feel in life.
They are:
Identity (who are you?)
Trauma (things that have happened in your past to shape you)
Love (what does it mean to you?)
Purpose (why are you on this planet?)
Death (how do you feel about it?)
This workshop will be for you if you want to:
Reconnect with your intuition so you can make decisions aligned to your soul
Deepen your confidence to show up more authentically in life
Better understand your emotions to remove the blocks stopping your progress
Expand your relationship with self-love for more inner peace
Explore your purpose and the impact you were born to create in the world
I’ll spend 45 minutes personally teaching you and then open the space for 30 minutes of Q&A.
Ok now for today’s newsletter…
“Yesterday I was clever, so I wanted to change the world. Today I am wise, so I am changing myself.” ― Rumi
This is such an important one if you’re on a healing journey.
What I’ve found can happen along the way is that as when we begin to learn new things about ourselves and the world we get excited and desperately want to help others in our life too.
We innocently share content with them and talk to them about what we’ve learnt hoping it will improve their lives. However, if someone is not ready, they will not be engaged and will be reluctant to change.
No one wants to subtly be told they are not good enough as they are. That they should be changing.
For years I tried to help my dad by sending him videos and books that I felt would help him change. Part of that was sincere in the hopes that it would help him evolve and grow, part of it was manipulation because I wanted him to see the error of his ways.
I wanted him to stop his negative behaviour because it would bring me peace.
And that’s the sticky part.
