Autumn is also about letting go in traditional Chinese medicine. It connects to the metal element which can be about grief and the connection to the lungs which is how we interact with our environment ✨💫

They can be prone to dryness, skin issues can also flare up in autumn because of the link between the lungs and the skin. Its a good time to start wearing a scarf to protect the back of the neck which is vulnerable to wind invasion and eat more lung 'yin' nourishing foods such as pears, oats, thyme, millet etc
