I am change averse. More specifically, averse to unplanned change. But I love your point about being curious. I am going to approach my current unplanned change with curiosity to hopefully ease my approach to it potentially causing change.
A lovely soulful read. I loved this line, "It is teaching you that you still have another layer to let go of." Sometimes I wonder if it's layers all the way down without end, an endless unfurling. Though as I write that intuition says no in regards to ego's play, but maybe yes to soul's play.
I don’t know that I have an answer to that but from my experience healing is layered and just when I think I’ve let go of something, there is a deeper layer to be explored, acknowledged and let go. Maybe healing is an ongoing journey that gets easier and more fun the more we lean into it with courage and curiosity 🙏🏽
I love that idea of healing becoming fun. Play is such an important topic that easily gets shuffled to the side. Maybe because play is associated with hedonism.

Hey Maileah! How are you?!
Thank you for taking the time to read Maileah and for being honest. What scares you about the change you’re currently going through? I wrote a piece a few weeks ago about our relationship to change. I’d love to hear what you feel: https://open.substack.com/pub/soulwisdom/p/endings-beginnings?r=a9uns&utm_medium=ios&utm_campaign=post
