Soul Circle 🪬👁️✨
Soul Circle is a monthly group space I created to help you feel more safe and less lonely. You’ll connect deeply with me and other courageous open hearted souls who are on a self-discovery journey just like you!
What do you get?
a guided meditation,
wisdom teachings on soulful topics,
live Q&A with me and reflective questions,
a safe space to release the heaviness in your heart!!!
“Surrendering means giving up your existing idea of life, not giving up on life.”
Earlier this week the group call was 🔥
I talked about:
👉🏽 Letting go of the shackles of your past
👉🏽 How to surrender to the unknown (where all new possibilities live)
👉🏽 Creating a new vision of life that’s aligned to who you are NOW (not who you’ve been).
I’m so proud of how vulnerable, open, and courageous these men and women are.
These conversations aren’t always easy to have but they’re so damn fulfilling and purposeful to host.
It’s a f*cking privilege and honour to hold space for humans as they dive deep into their soul to explore who they are each month in this group.
I don’t know what work is more important than this.
You either live a life that’s truly fulfilling to you or you live quietly desperate in the shadows repeating the same cycles everyday.
Next call is Tuesday 23rd July at 6PM BST (replay will be available)
I’d love to see you there!
Please note: I have been doing inner emotional work to look at my wounds for many years. I don’t feel happiness/peace/bliss can truly be experienced UNTIL you have a solid foundation of understanding what your past childhood wounds are and how they have created the stories that live in your mind and body today.
Practising Presence
“When you scoop from abundance, abundance remains.” - Anne Sexton
You know what I’ve realised recently?
Happiness is a perspective—it is a choice I have to make every single day.
It sounds so silly and simple.
But as my spiritual mentor once said, “Simplicity is the best form of sophistication.”
You can consciously choose to embody a certain vibration each day.
If you don’t choose, your mind and body will default to feeling how you did yesterday (and more often than not, it probably wasn’t too good).
So in a way, unless you’re consciously making a new choice each day to vibe differently, you’re always gonna live the past over and over again expecting something to change.
Our heart has been conditioned to be closed off from life to protect itself from more pain. Therefore, making a conscious effort to open our heart is a spiritual art that must be exercised daily so the heart can practise living in a new way.
The pull of our past and the anxiety of our future can be heavy, especially if we spend too much time in our head. Most of the day we’re lost in either of these realities—we’re either falling backwards or falling forwards, never really balanced and still in the present.
Being present means becoming aware of where you place your energy in each moment.
What thoughts are you allowing yourself to indulge in?
What behaviours are you allowing yourself to indulge in?
Being present is intoxicating because you get to choose to be in a space of joy, love, ease, peace, and bliss. These are emotions you can intentionally practise and evoke within you.
We can choose to be in this high frequency in each moment. But like I said, it must be practised. It doesn’t just happen. Because for most of us, we’ve been conditioned to focus on our pain and our problems.
We have practised thoughts and behaviours that don’t serve us and keep us chronically trapped in our past reliving it over and over, creating a predictable monotonous future. We’ve practised this so much that it has become encoded in our nervous system.
If its embedded in our nervous system, its automatic. Therefore, we must consciously choose to refocus our energy again and again until a new healthy approach of thinking and behaving becomes automatic.
Now, if we’re taking action from a dysregulated nervous system, we’re never really going to live a life that truly feels authentic because technically the dysregulated nervous system is our “old self”—the one that feels most familiar.
When you can break out of that pattern, you’re free.
True freedom is:
not being tied down by your past or pulled anxiously by your future, and
not being influenced by the external opinions of others
If you take care of each moment, then the future takes care of itself.
Because the future is only a collection of now moments.
You master that, you’ve broken the unhealthy cycles in your family.
You’re free.
Your Only Real Job
“You do not need to work to become spiritual. You are spiritual; you only need to remember that fact. Spirit is within you. God is within you.” - Julia Cameron
I saw this post by
earlier this week and loved the reminder. When you say “I’ll be happy when…” - you’re rewiring your brain to find happiness in the future. So when you actually get to that point, you’re already looking out into the future again.
Happiness is NOW.
In this very moment.
You can train your body and nervous system to feel it and experience it NOW.
Our only real job is to get connected to Source each day.
I use interchangeable words for Source like God, Universe, Divinity, Divine Energy, Higher Vibration. It’s all the same to me.
Source is a good one because it’s a reminder of the source of all creation.
I think about how my iPhone needs to be plugged in and it starts charging back to 100%. I don’t need to watch over it constantly to ensure it gets done.
“The work” IS in plugging the phone in and switching the socket on. Then I let go and leave the room and go about my day, trusting it is charging.
We operate our lives before getting connected.
No wonder we end up running on fumes and get exhausted.
We’re doing and doing more expecting that grinding harder will work. We’re not nurturing our connection to Source.
If you get yourself on the right vibration at the beginning of each day then you can trust the rest of the day will fall into place because you’re living from a higher connected and uplifted space.
When we’re not in this space and start the day in a bad mood because we’re thinking about the past or worrying about the future, we’re creating more of the same simply because our nervous system has encoded all of the behaviours for those emotions of worry/fear/anxiety.
We’re focused too much on doing instead of being.
I’m not saying we should sit around and take no action whatsoever. I’m saying get connected, get aligned, get regulated, FIRST.
If you create from this place, you’re creating a new future reality that embodies all the high vibe emotions you want to truly feel: joy, love, ease, peace, and bliss.
Consistently Happy
“Happiness in your heart is directly proportional to the quality of thoughts in your mind.” – Asma Naqi
To help me practise being in the space of happiness more often than not, I made a list of 5 basic things that make me feel happy which I can practise on a daily basis.
Listening to Abraham Hicks videos (you can listen to the list I’ve compiled here).
Meditations (you can listen to the guided meditation I do regularly here).
Writing a “thank you” list for everything I want as if it has already been given to me + writing a list of all the things I have in abundance already (i.e. water, food, oxygen, clothes, my own quiet space, access to nature, shower etc).
Cleaning and organising my space.
Exercising and/or stretching.
An affirmation I say to myself:
“everything is always working out for me”.
We brush our teeth everyday. We take a shower daily. We eat food daily. Why not tend to our energy daily? Prune the energy that no longer resonates and plant new beautiful seeds of intention like joy, love, ease, peace, bliss.
Name, nourish, and nurture those seeds daily.
We’re either feeding our energy to seeds or weeds each day.
How we feel is a great indication of what we’ve been tending to more.
Healing my nervous system is something I am learning to do each day as I recondition myself toward a better feeling future.
One love 🖤
